Teacher's Magazine - 'FiTting In'

This Illustration was commissioned by Teacher's Magazine on a feature article about immigrant and traveller children fitting in in primary schools, and what teachers and schools can do to ease this process. The idea of using a jigsaw was to illustrate the fitting in process. Some pieces don't fit in as easily as others and some are even misfitting, thus conveying the difficulty that some of these children have. The illustration is a positive one. Colourful, not just to convey the positivity of the measures that these schools are taking but also to convey the nature and spirit of the primary school kids.
